Focus, flipped

Pomodoro runs focus, short-break, and long-break phases on the shared flip display. A phase label, a cycle readout like 2/4, and an accent bar that shifts color per phase keep the current mode obvious from across the room — focus carries the brand gradient, short breaks cool to teal, long breaks settle violet.

Durations are editable: focus and breaks accept any minute value, with 25, 5, and 15 as defaults and a long break every 4 cycles. Auto-start chains phases without clicks; skip jumps ahead; reset returns to a fresh focus block. A per-day counter records completed focus sessions under a date-keyed local key, so streaks survive midnight correctly.

Phase boundaries are timestamp-based. Each phase stores its end time, so background tabs and reloads land on the right phase with the right remaining time instead of drifting. Transitions play a synthesised chime and, with permission, a browser notification naming the next phase. The tab title shows phase and time, turning a pinned tab into a status readout.

Space starts and pauses, N skips, R resets, F goes fullscreen for deep-work rooms. The control bar hides after three idle seconds and returns on movement. Sessions never leave the device — counts and settings stay in local storage.

What are the default durations?

25 minutes focus, 5 short break, 15 long break, with a long break every 4 cycles. All editable.

Does it auto-start the next phase?

Optionally — auto-start is a toggle in the Pomodoro settings section.

How are completed sessions counted?

Each finished focus block increments a counter keyed by calendar date, stored locally.

Does it survive reload mid-phase?

Yes. Phase end times are timestamps, so reloads resume the correct phase and time.
